Company Bio: Grandstage is 100% black women owned renewable energy company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company provides renewable energy and lighting solutions using solar, LED and other technology, and our goal is to electrify communities in Africa for economic development and food security. Grandstage Product Range includes: - LED rechargeable smart lamps (that also work during power interruptions). - LED solar-powered lamps (for non-electrified communities). - Solar-powered home systems. - Solar-powered water pumps for multiple purposes. - Solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems (batteries). - LED solar streetlights and outdoor flood lights. - Industrial lighting for commercial buildings and mining operations. - Solar-powered ICT equipment (desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners, copiers and interactive smart boards used for learning. Project Consultations & Feasibility Studies: Grandstage conducts independent technical evaluations of energy projects (preliminary design, modelling, financial analysis). Grid Integration – developing maximum cost-effective and efficient ways to deliver variable renewable energy (VRE) to the power system grid. Resource Assessment – using meteorological data and GIS mapping to assess the renewable energy potential and onsite data of specific geographical areas and sites. Energy audits to review how the site can be run more energy efficient.
